Natural Gas Aggregation Program – Ending October 2026
The City has decided to end its natural gas aggregation program when the current program expires in October 2026. Volatility in the natural gas market and the concerns of not being able to guarantee savings to participants was the driving factor in this decision.
What This Means for You
The City’s natural gas aggregation program will end in October 2026.
All accounts enrolled in the program will automatically be returned to Duke’s default natural gas supply.
No action is required on your part for this transition.
Looking Ahead
Energy Alliances will continue to monitor natural gas market conditions. We will work with the City to see if it’s beneficial to restart the program in the future to be able to guarantee savings to participants.
If you have questions about your natural gas bill or the transition, please contact Energy Alliances.
