In the coming weeks, accounts participating in the electric aggregation program with Energy Harbor will receive notices regarding Dynegy’s recent acquisition of Energy Harbor. No action is needed in response to this notice. Participants will also receive a letter from your local utility notifying them of this change to Dynegy. Again, no action is needed when these notices arrive, assuming that participants wish to continue in the program. The change in company ownership WILL NOT impact the aggregation rate or term. We will update the tables below after the name change is finalized.
Community Aggregation Rates
Some suppliers let you enroll yourself online and you’ll see the “Click Here” link in the table above if the supplier has the option. If they don’t have an online enrollment option, we have the suppliers phone number listed.
If the supplier doesn’t allow online enrollments or you are having trouble, you can start a chat with us or call us at (513) 794-5555 or (800) 735-0359 and we can assist you!
Your energy supplier(s) can answer most program questions. In addition, the Energy Alliances team is available Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM by phone at (513) 794-5555 or (800) 735-0359, or you can leave us a message while we’re out and we will get back to you as soon as possible! You can also visit our contact page for more ways to get in touch.
Door-to-door solicitors are everywhere and the phone calls to buy energy seem to never end. Don’t be fooled by these offers. The supplier of the aggregation will never come to your door! Some salespeople may display a solicitor’s permit or official looking badge. THE PERMIT IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT BY THE COMMUNITY, and the badge may be misleading. They may claim they work with the utility or XYZ Energy company and offer rates far below anything you presently are receiving. Please do not show them your energy bill. Also, beware of robo-calls and phone solicitors claiming that “your utility account has been flagged for review.” This could also a scam by an unethical broker or supplier designed to mislead you.
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to close the door on the solicitor and call your local officials.
